Our privately-owned childcare center is looking for fun, energetic, and enthusiastic teachers to work with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We are located in Commerce Township, MI, near the intersection of Glengary Rd. & Benstein Rd.

Our Assistant Teacher position requires a self-motivated and self-directed individual, who takes initiative and has the ability to multitask.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

• Must pass a TB test and criminal background check, including fingerprinting

• ​

Other responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a positive, fun, and professional attitude

• Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing activities that support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.

• Maintain a clean, safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and promote positive social relationships

• Communicating effectively with parents and co-workers

• Share in classroom cleaning responsibilities

• Assist with classroom curriculum

We have flexible shifts available from 6:30am – 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate would be available to work 20-25 hours per week. Prior child care center experience is preferred, but not required.
